Arriving in Scotland

Well arriving in Scotland was...interesting. At the airport in Newark while I was waiting I met a elderly woman named Martha and her husband. They were from Scotland and were very concerned about me traveling there alone. We spoke for a long time and she gave me her contact information in case I ever needed anything. It amazed me how trusting and caring they were.

So the plane ride sucked, as can be expected. Some person kept farting and I barely slept, but w.e. So after the landing I got through customs fine. Guess what? It was RAINING. How typical. Riding to Stirling from Glasgow was very familiar. I was in a car, on a highway, listening to American music.  The only thing that really threw me off was everyone driving on the wrong side -_-. Anyways when we got to Stirling I got my first glance at Stirling Castle...
It is that bumpy thing on top of the hill :D. I am going there tomorrow and am very excited. So we got to the campus which is HUGE and got put in out flats which is where I am now. On the way in I saw something that I think is where I am going to spend most of my free time.....
 That mountain WILL BE MINE!!!!
Anyways I slept for a long time and unpacked ect... and then we had a reception thingy in a smallish castle in the middle of the campus...
They gave us all tons of wine and we talked for a while and a guy played the bagpipes. I scored a free alarm clock left over from last year! Right now I am extremely tired and ready for bed, but it is still light out and it is 10:30pm. I have been told it will not get dark completely until 11:30pm. Well I am seriously falling asleep so I am going to go to sleep in my tiny little bed with only one blanket and wash my face/ brush my teeth in the sink in my room. Goodnight!
